Task 2- History of coming of age films

Learning Comment

From doing this task I have found that there is a common theme in the older films and also a common theme within the newer ones. In the older films, they are set more around school life and have a more humorous  messages. In the newer films, the message is a lot more serious. For example, in Juno, it is based on teen pregnancy and in Boyhood, it is based on family problems, which are both very serious and sensitive topic.
