Creative tasks: Continuity shots

Creative task: create a continuity sequence of at least 20 different shots

This task made us make a short film with over 20 cuts with continuity. We had to make a short film with over 20 cuts and had to apply this in to a scenario, in this case, me stealing Tyler's magazine. 

From completing this task, i learnt how to make a short film with various camera techniques and combine them together to create a seamless edit. There were a few problems we experienced, firstly, we filmed in 4k and the mac we edition could not cope with this. This resulted in lag throughout us editing and has made some shots extremely long and the edit on some shots was poor. This did work in our favour in a few shots as the double shot of the same thing out emphasis on Tyler being mad as his magazines had gone missing. However, this problem did not really affect us and we thought that the task did come out really well. This task also went over the techniques we have used in previous tasks so that we are really confident in using them.
